History TALLER
History TALLER (pronounced tah-yĕr) is a research group dedicated to exploring the Teaching and Learning of Language, Ethnicity, and Race (TALLER).
Our research centers on how people in the U.S. conceptualize race/ethnicity, and how this impacts what children learn in K-12 history classrooms. We support researchers and educators who are committed to exploring the historical complexity of race, ethnicity, and how they intersect with language.
In addition to our research, History TALLER provides professional development and educational resources for teachers and teacher educators.
