Position Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Behavior Technician or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team as a Senior Behavior Technician - Child Support Advocate. In this role, you will work closely with autistic children or children with other hidden disabilities and their families, providing essential support in their daily activities and assisting in the implementation of assent-based, neurodiversity-affirming behavioral therapy plans (informed by actually autistic practitioners). Your expertise will contribute to improving the quality of life for our clients and their families through structuring supportive environments.

This role is ideal for providers seeking opportunities to gain restricted and unrestricted fieldwork experience toward their BCBA credential.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized support plans in school, community, or home setting (primarily in West Seattle, with possible opportunities in other areas).
  • Maintain medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with and take direction from the case supervisor.
  • Assist clients in developing skills for daily living and social interactions.
  • Monitor and document client behavior, providing feedback to supervisors regarding progress and challenges.
  • Make materials and perform light admin work related to the case as needed.
  • Participate in training and continuing education events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Existing CBT or LABA credential in the state of Washington required. Additional RBT or BCaBA credential with the BACB preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
  • Prior experience as a CBT, preferably in assent-based practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Compassionate demeanor with strong commitment to affirming practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team with mixed neurotypes (autistics, ADHDers, neurotypical, etc.).

Immediate Openings

There are immediate openings available for three clients in early learner age (2-6) in the West Seattle area.

A. afterschool program weekdays 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM ~13 hours per week

B. preschool program weekdays ~4 hours per week

C. in home program weekdays ~4 hours per week
