Position Description

We are an active and busy family in the Olympic Hills/Lake City neighborhood of Seattle, looking for a reliable, patient, and caring nanny to support our morning routine and Friday afternoon pick-up. Additional afternoon hours may be available depending on your schedule and interest.

About Our Family:

• We are two working parents:
  • Mom is a school psychologist with meetings before and after school.
  • Dad works remotely from home most of the time.
• No pets.
• Two wonderful children, ages 4 and 6, who attend the same school near Volunteer Park, just over the University Bridge.
• We value warmth, patience, dependability, and respectful communication.

Job Responsibilities:

• Morning Routine (2–3 weekdays, 6:30 - 8:30 AM):
  • Help kids get ready for school (encouraging dressing, teeth brushing, etc.)
  • Prepare and pack school lunches
  • Serve breakfast and clean up after
  • Possibly drive them to school at 7:45 am (approx. 20-25 min drive depending on traffic)
• Friday Afternoon (2:00 - 5:00 PM):
  • Pick kids up at 2:00 PM (near Volunteer Park)
  • Bring kids home and play/supervise until 5:00 PM.
• Occasional extra hours available on school closure days.
• Also, it is possible to discuss after-school help for other days, depending on availability.
