Position Description
Family seeking PT nanny for 9-month-old Sep. 2025 - Jan. 2026 (with potential to extend); $30-$35/hour
We're a family of four based in Bothell seeking a part-time nanny for our daughter, who will be 9 months in September. We need care beginning September 8th, 2025 until approximately mid-January 2026 (with potential to extend as late as May 2026 if the right candidate requires a longer commitment).
Schedule:
Approximately 24 hours per week, spread across 3 days Monday - Thursday (you can select the days that work best for you). We need a 9am start time, but end time can be flexible / variable.
Tasks:
Basic care for 9 month-old, including administering some bottles (mom will also be home and available to breastfeed some meals), giving solid meals, naps, diapers, etc.
Experience & Compensation:
CPR & First Aid certified
At least 6 months experience working with children under the age of 1
Must be up to date on Tdap, COVID, and flu vaccines and have reliable transportation
Additional childcare or child medical care experience a plus
We're offering $30-$35/hour DOE and 2 days (16 hours) of sick/personal pay. We're open to discussing guaranteed hours and/or vacation pay for the right candidate.
Additional Information:
This person will be working in our home in Bothell. Both parents will be at home working during the day.
We have a 70 lb dog who will also be in the house, but will be separated and have no interaction with the nanny.
We also have a four-year-old daughter who attends school full time, but may have some overlap with the nanny. We don't expect the nanny to provide any care for our older child.
