When you join our team you will:
- Develop and lead creative programming to inspire growth and learning for our students
- Plan, coordinate, and manage after school enrichment classes and summer camps
- Oversee and steward a small team of after school teachers
- Supervise students indoor and outdoor play for safety and engagement
- Maintain open lines of communication with teaching and administrative staff
- Be a vital piece of the Cascadia puzzle in education, classroom management, and student safety
We would love to talk with you if you possess the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years experience in a Montessori setting, summer camp, and/or afterschool program
- Keen understanding of elementary education and program development
- Desire to instill a sense of learning through discovery and play in our students
- Ability to cultivate relationships with students, coworkers, and outside vendors
- Strong leadership skills and proven track record of sound decision-making
- Team mindset to serve and assist on various tasks to ensure all work is completed
- CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain (paid for by Cascadia)
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors, be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in activities with children

Hours and schedule:
This is an on-site position at Cascadia’s Redmond campus with a Monday through Friday schedule that follows the school calendar. When school is in session, working hours are generally 1:00pm to 6:30pm. The early afternoon hours will be dedicated to planning and preparation prior to the start of after school programming at 3:00pm.
