Instructional Leadership Executive Director

  is seeking an Instructional Leadership Executive Director (ILED) to join their Student Learning team. The clear and primary role of the principal supervisor in Highline Public Schools is to build the capacity of principals as equity-driven instructional leaders. Instructional Leadership Executive Directors (ILEDs) are members of the Student Learning executive team, reporting directly to the Deputy Superintendent. ILEDs work with principals one-on-one and in groups, to advance best practices and support data-driven strategies as a master teacher of principals. This role works individually and as a team to support school leaders to deliver on Our Promise to each and every student, by ensuring quality teaching and learning at each of their schools. ILEDs hold high expectations for school leadership practice, as outlined in the AWSP Leadership Framework, and broker connections with other district staff when necessary in service of principal leadership.
