Part-Time Respite Caregiver (Ideal for Early Special Education Students)

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable individual to provide part-time care for our two-year-old son, who has unique developmental needs. This role offers invaluable hands-on experience for an education student interested in working with children making it an ideal opportunity to build skills in adaptive caregiving, early intervention, and inclusive education practices. Our son is an energetic and curious toddler who loves books, playing with cars, music, dancing, and spending time outdoors. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in his daily routine, helping him thrive in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting during mealtimes
  • Supporting him in and out of his crib and high chair
  • Assisting with his hearing aids
  • Engaging him in developmentally supportive activities, such as reading, sensory play, music, and outings to the park
