We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver/babysitter/nanny for our 5-year-old son, who has autism and mild cerebral palsy. He is a happy, sweet, and empathetic boy who always has a smile on his face! He is a loving brother to his 2-year-old sister and currently attends Kindergarten at EEU. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide after-school care and support 2 - 5 times/week as agreed upon in advance (M, T, TH, F 3PM – 6PM, W 2PM – 6PM)
• Assist with daily activities, playtime, and learning opportunities
• Assist with dinner preparation
• Engage in activities as recommended by OT, SLP, and PT
• Offer support on occasional weekends or evenings for date nights

Qualifications:

• Experience caring for children with autism/special needs
• Background or training in special education, behavior analysis (BCBA), occupational therapy (OT), speech-language pathology (SLP), or physical therapy (PT) is a bonus
• Patient, nurturing, and able to communicate effectively with children
