K-3 Math & Reading Intervention Tutor
Tutors Impacting Public Schools (TIPS) is hiring classroom tutors to improve student success, support teacher and school needs, and enrich public school classrooms for the 2024-2025 school year! More details about our work and impact can be found on our website .

In this position you will:
- Support grades K-3 in Math and SIPPS Reading small groups, along with lunch and recess at Leschi Elementary School (135 32nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98122)
- Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects
- Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
- Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
- Get paid $23/hour
- Accrue paid sick leave
Schedule:
- Start Date: September 4th, 2024
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
- Position 1: 8:45am to 1:15pm, 18 hours a week*
- Position 2: 8:45am to 12:45pm, 16 hours a week*
