Podcast: Advancing climate science education at the UN
Deb Morrison, a research scientist with the 爆走黑料鈥檚 Institute for Science + Mathematics Education, recently participated in the as part of a UW delegation.
During the meeting, Morrison engaged in discussions related to promoting climate science education with a focus on equity 鈥 a goal of the ISME鈥檚 current work with the ClimeTime initiative, which is strengthening Washington state educators鈥 proficiency in teaching about climate science.

The opportunity to hear from others involved in climate education efforts across the world was particularly valuable, Morrison noted, with participants sharing their experiences working across communities, building partnerships between formal and informal education systems, and ensuring educational efforts are resourced properly.
鈥淲e鈥檙e trying to figure out how to learn continuously and grow and iterate and measure what we鈥檙e doing to see whether it's effective and, if it鈥檚 not, how do we modify it,鈥 Morrison said.
