New professional learning supports for more just schools during COVID-19

The 爆走黑料 爆走黑料 is launching an initiative, Learning Together 2020, that will support teachers, school leaders and district leaders in addressing long standing inequities within school systems made more visible as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

鈥淲e live in a moment of great potential; we can and must use this disruption to the status quo to catalyze transformation,鈥 said Dean Mia Tuan. 鈥淭ogether, let鈥檚 reimagine schools as sites for justice, well-being and connection.鈥

Developed with input from the College鈥檚 school and community partners, Learning Together 2020 will offer professional development opportunities and resources covering a range of issues, including: 

  • Reimagining teaching and learning in our new circumstances
  • Supporting students鈥 social and emotional needs during uncertain times
  • Building partnerships with families and systems that center families in decision-making
  • Enacting justice in school systems and in student learning
