
Allen Glenn
Allen Glenn's teaching and research focus on using technology to instruct students in the classroom, social studies education, and teacher education. He is a leader in the field of teacher education and in the spring of 1996 he received the Pomeroy Award for Outstanding Contributions to Teacher Education from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE). He served as AACTE's president for 1998-1999. Dr. Glenn has published in the field of social studies and on the use of computers in schools. His co-authored books include Restructuring Schools with Technology (1995) and Teaching and Learning in Secondary Social Studies (1991).
